MICHELE STELLA

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Graduated in Economics and Commerce from the Faculty of Rome La Sapienza in 1995.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant, he began his career at Risorse Per Roma in 1996, eventually becoming Managing Director of some of the most significant Italian real estate entities.
He has also served as the Country Manager of the German real estate group IVG Immobilien Ag. From June 2018 to March 2023, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Torre SGR, wholly owned by the Fortress Group.

He has been collaborating with Luiss Business School since 2008 and has been an Adjunct Faculty Member since 2016.

ARIANNA CORNALI

CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER AND FUND MANAGER

Arianna Cornali has been serving as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and corporate affairs manager of Polis since 2015.

Since November 2023, she also holds the position of Anti-Money Laundering Officer.
She has previously gained specific experience in corporate governance and corporate matters while working in the legal departments of Prelios (formerly “Pirelli RE”) and Prelios SGR, where she coordinated Corporate Affairs and Corporate Secretary offices.
She began her career in legal and notarial firms with a focus on corporate law.
She graduated with honors in Law with an International focus from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan.

Dottore Commercialista e Revisore, inizia la sua attività professionale nel 1995 in una merchant bank attiva nel settore delle partecipazioni bancarie dove ricopre un incarico nell’area Finanza e Tesoreria ed implementa un sistema AL&M per la gestione dei rischi di tasso e cambio.
Esercita l’attività professionale di commercialista prima di ricoprire, nel 2001, un incarico nell’area Finanza in Moby Invest SpA, capogruppo dell’omonima società di navigazione. Nel 2005 approda nel settore immobiliare come Responsabile Amministrazione e Finanza in LM Real Estate SpA. Dalla fine del 2007 è il Responsabile del Controllo di Gestione in Polis Fondi SGR fino ad assumere, nel novembre 2011, la carica di Chief Financial Officer.

A Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor, he started his career in 1995 at a merchant bank operating in bank holdings, where he served in the Finance and Treasury department and implemented an AL&M system to manage interest rate and foreign exchange risks. He worked as a self-employed chartered accountant and, in 2001, was selected for a position in the Finance department of Moby Invest SpA, the holding entity of the shipping company by the same name. In 2005, he joins the real estate sector as the Chief Financial Officer of LM Real Estate SpA. Since late 2007, he served as the Performance Auditing Manager at Polis Fondi SGR, until he became its Chief Financial Officer in November 2011.

he is currently a Professor Emeritus. He has lectured at the Universities of Ancona, Siena, Parma, Paris (Sorbonne) and at the Polytechnic of Milan. He authored various publications on banking and finance topics. He has held important management positions within listed and non-listed Corporations. Inter alia, he is the Chairman of Palladio Holding SpA, Factorit SpA and Unione Fiduciaria SpA. He is a member of the Board of Directors of SNAI SpA, of Gewiss SpA and of Lanificio Fratelli Cerruti SpA. He is the Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Borsa Italiana SpA and of Monte Titoli SpA.
